REQUIRED SKILLS Execute mediumthroughput screening assays to understand the potential of lead drug candidates to induce cytochrome P450 enzymes. Conduct the in vitro enzyme induction assays to predict the clinical drug interactions. Develop the physiologicallybased pharmacokinetic PBPK models using SimCYP to capture the plasma profiles of pregabalin and dacocitinib. Extrapolate the PK profiles from Caucasian to Chinese population to validate the SimCYPs ability to predict the ethnicity based difference on drug disposition. Use SimCYP as platform to learn PBPK modeling to predict the drug disposition in humans. Use knowledge of human physiology including structure of the central nervous system CNS to design delivery of drugs to the CNS.
