Alternatively, the employer will accept a Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field and three 3 years of work experience in software engineering.br br Candidate must also have the followingbr 1 Demonstrated knowledge of Java gained through at least three 3 years of work experience;br 2 Demonstrated knowledge of RESTful Web applicationsservices gained through at least three 3 years of work experience;br 3 Demonstrated ability with distributed software such as Hadoop, Apache Kafka, Apache HBase, or AWS gained through at least three 3 years of work experience;br 4 Demonstrated ability providing architecture direction and design gained through at least two 2 years of work experience;br 5 Demonstrated ability with databases using SQL gained through at least one 1 year of work experience; andbr 6 Demonstrated ability identifying technical issues and technical debt to improve code quality gained through at least one 1 year of work experience.br br All years of experience may be gained concurrently. Telecommuting is an option.
