Experience must include six years of preparing federal, state, and international income tax workpapers and returns for CCorporations, investment management partnerships, S Corporations and high networth individual clients; utilizing tax software, including OneSource, GoSystem, and Corptax to prepare federal, state and local, and international income tax returns, and calculate estimated taxes and process filings; utilizing tax research tools, including LexisNexis, BNA, and CCH, to provide tax compliance and consulting services to various clients; preparing quarterly estimated tax payments for Corporations, and preparing workpapers supporting federal and state income tax returns and state franchise tax; preparing responses to corporate and partnership federal tax notices, and assisting high networth individual clients in IRS audits; and utilizing fixed asset software to prepare and review federal and state depreciation reports. Experience must include one year of preparing quarterly and annual provisions in accordance with ASC 740 including performing analysis for FIN 48, calculation of effective tax rate, calculation of valuation allowance, and preparing current and deferred tax schedules and tax review memos; and assisting with 481a adjustment calculations, including preparation and review of Form 3115, Application for Change in Accounting Method. Position requires approximately 80 travel.
