Specific Skills The Project EngineerProtection will be based out of the companys Lakewood field office located at 1597 Cole Blvd, Bldg 15, Suite 350, Lakewood, Colorado 80401. However, because the company has numerous customers nationwide, some travel is required, as the incumbent will occasionally and on a shortterm basis be deployed to various customer sites. Candidates must therefore be willing to travel to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States on an ongoing basis.br br Candidates must possess, at minimum, a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electric Power Systems Engineering, or related. All candidates must also possess knowledge, as evidenced by passing a basic technical proficiency test, of at least two of the three following subject matter areas 1 electric power system protection practices, protection applications, and associated protocols; 2 protective relay engineering theory, operation, applications, and testing; and 3 power engineering fault conditions and calculations. Note All candidates for all engineering positions at the company must pass a basic technical proficiency test. Candidates must also be willing to comply with the companys DrugFree and TobaccoFree policies.
