Experience must include one year of conducting interviews with process owners, creating process narratives, identifying key process controls and identifying mitigation process for noted gaps; performing internal audits for business processes including control design, evaluating control operating effectiveness, performing control gap analysis and reviewing testing performed by client personnel; planning, implementing, coordinating, and executing all phases of SarbanesOxley SOX compliance and internal audit to include leading walkthroughs and identifyingvalidating key controls, developing test procedures, executing and documenting testing, and reporting results to internal and external audit management; updating documentation including process flowcharts, process narratives, risk and controls matrix and evaluating controls as new systems are developed andor process changes; developing effective testing procedures to evaluate the operating effectiveness of relevant internal controls; performing root cause analysis, documenting internal audit observations and designing efficient and effective remediation plans; performing internal audits and SOX audits U.S. or International under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS; documenting processes including revenues, expenditures, and inventory cycles; collecting supporting evidence, including documents, invoices, purchase orders and contracts, to assess deficient controls, inefficiencies, and noncompliance with applicable GAAP, IFRS, and SOX U.S. or International guidelines; and mentoring and coaching junior team members.
