Specific Skills Qualified applicants will possess a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Design, or a closely related field and 10 years of experience in the design for European Markets in the field of appliances and consumer products. Must possess 10 years of experience with design for sustainability in consumer products; leading a multibillion dollar brand in terms of Design Strategy and Design Language; technical Product and Device Design including appliances; Packaging Design for mass market consumer goods; 3D CAD skills and ability to design with 3D software ProEngineer, Keyshot; shaving technology and technical requirements for Design; leading multiple product design initiatives through corporate gateways from Front End Innovation through to production; strategic industrial design including guiding the organization in terms of design languages and visual brand languages across the portfolio; trackrecord of successful consumer product design in the industry for billion dollar brands; corporate design and design consultancy experience; building and delivering 3D CAD concept renderings for consumer testing, approval, high end model fabrication and engineering development; presenting initiatives to all levels and audiences within organizations to ensure timely decisions without losing sight of industrial design intent and delivery timelines; model shop fabrication processes; and manufacturing and tooling in the area of plastics, metals and decoration technologies. Must possess 3 years of experience in the following managing design teams, including studio lead within a global organization, and recruitment; developing proposals for performance expectations, capability and mastery requirements for the Design teams; and budget management authority for people and global external agencies. Up to 25 of domestic and international travel required. Parttime local telecommuting permitted.
