Specific Skills Bachelors degree in an ABET accredited electrical engineering program and 3 years of electrical engineer experience which must include Power system modeling and load flow analysis; Load forecasting, short circuit and fault analysis, grid operations studies, transient stability studies; Using PSSE and ASPEN OneLiner and applying NERC reliability standards to power system operations and planning. Alternatively, a masters degree in an ABET accredited electrical engineering program and 1 year of electrical engineer experience as specified above is acceptable. ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. NonABET accredited degrees in electrical engineering must be accompanied by a Professional Engineers PE license from any U.S. state or by a master degree or a Ph.D. from a university with an ABET accredited bachelor degree program in electrical engineering.
