Specific Skills This position requires a Bachelors in geography, computer science, engineering, GIS, or a related field plus 5 years of experience in the utility industry. Alternatively, will accept 5 years of experience in the utility industry. Employer will accept any suitable combination of experience of education, training, or experience. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with 1 Utilizing GIS solutions ArcGIS, ArcFM, Geodatabases, etc.; 2 Designing and implementing solutions for one or more utility domains; 3 Implementing of utility engineering software solutions such as Geographic Information Systems GIS, Outage Management Systems OMS andor Engineering Analysis EA. Preference given to those with extensive GIS experience; 4 Documentation, Testing, Installation, Commissioning and Service Processes; 5 Integrating enterprise applications e.g. SAP, PeopleSoft, WMS, OMS, etc; 6 Utilizing commercial RDBMS such as Oracle and SQL Server preferred; and 7 Working with electric, gas and telecomfiber, companies.
