Specific Skills In addition to a masters degree, position requires 2 years of experience as a Materials EngineerMetallurgist. Position also requires the following specific experience 2 years of experience analyzing material properties and their microstructure, including sample preparation for microstructure analysis; 1 year of operational experience with materials characterization equipment Scanning Electron Microscope, Optical Microscopy, hardness testing etc.; and 1 year of operational experience with mechanical testing equipment Tensile Tester, ductometer etc. Position also requires Must have demonstrated working knowledge of metallurgical processes in general, and aluminum, which may have been acquired through industry or academic experience; Must have demonstrated ability in general laboratory practices and analysis report writing skills, which are essential for analysis of materials, defects, and failures; and Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
